Another note: Are you looking for a competitive league with a high level of skill? Did you play in high school or college, and aren’t that far removed from your playing days? Do you prefer paid umpires over random volunteers who are bound to get some calls wrong? Our league might not be for you. While we don’t enforce any specific rules regarding the issue, our league is first and foremost about the love of the game, having fun, and being open to everyone in the community. While we encourage healthy competition, we rank respect of the game and access to everyone over winning. If you are looking for a more competitive, serious experience, we recommend you check out the MSBL or NABA. If you are looking for some high-level fast-pitch men’s overhand softball (aka Jungleball) we recommend the Crescent City Softball League. If you are looking for an over-40 baseball league, we recommend The Diamond Dreams League. If you are looking for a slow-pitch softball league we recommend the Fun and Frolic Club.
